6 Mental States

𝟔 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 ( Study this if you want to become successful) Within this post I am going to provide a detailed explanation about the 6 mental states. Let’s take a clear glass for an example. The Calm State When this glass is clear you can see clearly at what’s inside and what’s on the other side because it’s transparent. This is just like the calm state of your mind. When you are in this mental state it’s very easy for you to deal with the day to day problems, do the decision making, study …etc. Sensory Desired State If you add a high density color to the glass then the glass will not be transparent. If you tend to seek pleasure through the five senses then you are going to be in a sensory desired state. For example if you are listening to a music track you love, play a game, drink something you like then you would be in a sensory desired state. Ill-willed state If you boil the water in the glass, after reaching the boiling point water will boil. Steam, boiling water will make it extremely hard for you to see what’s inside the glass. Just like that feelings of hostility, resentment and hatred will hinder your daily progress in your life. If you have a resentment towards a circumstance, that will hinder you from progressing in your daily activities at that exact moment. For another example, If you focus on hatred towards one of your most hated people , that will hinder you from progressing in your daily activities at that exact moment. Laziness state (also known as Sloth & Torpor) Let’s assume that you cover the glass with algae & slime. The glass will not be transparent because of the algae & slime. Just like that if you stay in a lazy state, without taking action, that will also impact upon the daily activities. Every one of us is in a state of dullness, sleepiness once in a while. This is the state of the mind called laziness. State of Restlessness and Regret If you turn on a high powered fan in front of the water glass, due to the extreme wind that fan generates, water tends to be turbulent. Have you ever become unable to sit still, stand still and start to be restless about something ?. And also have you ever regretted something you did in the past again and again ?. This is considered the state of restlessness and worry. In fact the mind is turbulent like a whirlwind lost in fantasies of your life, previous memories you had …etc. If you are in the state of restlessness and regret that will hinder you from progressing in your daily activities at that exact moment. State of Doubt If you add soil to a glass of water and mix properly then you can easily understand that the glass will not be transparent. Just like that, if you are going to be doubtful about your knowledge, skills and abilities you cannot achieve the best results you want to achieve in life. If you lack conviction or trust in your abilities, most probably that will hinder you from progressing in your daily activities at that exact moment and also in some certain circumstances this will stop you from progressing in your life.
